  1. Hello,

    Commercial: Foxtel All Stars

The commercial is advertising kids to have a try and to make it in to The Foxtel All Stars soccer team. I think the audience is us kids how I know is because it is a kids activity. Some of the persuasive techniques is the trip to America and Tim Cahill coaching you. Well to go to America Disney land and to play soccer there that is cool. And something else that caught my eye is to be trained by Tim Cahill that is a HUGE dream of mine.

    Regard Ethan

    4. What persuasive techniques does the commercial use?
The commercial said: Crunchy Chicken breast and it made it sound like you really wanted it.

5.How does each technique persuade you?
Something that did not pursuade me was that it was juicy because on the comercial to me it didn’t feel like it was juicy.

    2) What was the commercial about?
It’s about a burger in hungry jacks and to eat at hungry jacks. And there’s a new burger and you should really try it might surprise you in some ways.

    3) Who was the audience? Why?
I think it was to everyone because everyone loves junk food. Another reason is also because everyone gets hungry once and a while so hungry jacks is the place to be. And for kids in some of them there’s playground in the place.

    4) What persuasive techniques did the commercial use? Did it hook you in?
First of all it did hook me in because I’m pretty hungry right now.
    – The burgers are better are better at hungry jacks that is very true
    – there was a jingle which is a mini song
    – and the burger is very persuasive because it looks so good.
Those are the techniques they used to hook me in.

    5) How does each technique persuade you?
The burgers are better at hungry jacks persuaded me because I love junk food and burgers are my favourite so it persuades me.
The jingle persuaded me because the lyrics were very interesting and so I was really hooked in. That I love burgers and they were on of the biggest and coolest burgers I have ever seen in my life.

  4. 1. The commercial is about Coles and there prices are going down. As they would like people to believe they are the cheapest greocery store.

    2. They are advertising that the prices are going down and cheaper so people can buy more things from Coles. Not all the prices go down on things.

    3. The audience are people like my Mum and Dad as they do the grocery shopping as they have money to buy things from Coles. It is not kids because we don’t have the money to buy groceries.

    4. The persuasive techniques they use is by making up very catchy songs which people remember and sing to and the words are very repetitive.

    5. Them advertising the prices is persuading people to come in and spend money and then people spend money on things that they don’t actually need.

    2) This commercial is advertising holidays and helps you make a decision on where you can go to. It’s also advertising nature and what amazing wild things that you can only see if you take a holiday to different countries which are not available to see here in Melbourne.

Who is the audience? How do you know?

  7. Hello Bloggers,

I will be typing about the commercial that is our homework today!

    1) What is the commercial?

The commercial was about something to do with insurance and saving energy bills. Even though I am not an adult and not interested in insurance and stuff, to be honest at this tine, the ads look REALLY interesting!

    2) What is the commercial advertising?

The commercial was advertising about insurance and telling you guys (Well adults mostly) to switch into this insurance company and your energy bills will go low and it helps you to save energy!

    3) Who is the audience? How do you know?

The audience is mostly the parents, adults and even maybe teenagers! I know this because usually in bills the children don’t really do the paying, it’s their parents, unless people force their children to pay for their bills which wont happen. Another reason is because, this is an insurance not those toy store ad that kids would watch it for ages!

    4) What persuasive techniques does the commercial use?

    I believe that they used:
    – Background

    – Sound/music

    – Loads of pictures of people using electricity

    5) How does each technique persuade you?

I believe that they persuaded me (If I was an adult) by:
    – Background – Very dark and bright (Dark representing as not using electricity that much and bright representing as using electricity) It persuaded me by the colours and made me feel, hmm if I used loads of electricity, it would cost a load of money to pay!

    – Sound/music – Very light and normal. It persuaded me by how the music is and the music actually matches the topic!

    – Loads of pictures of people using electricity – At the start I saw someone flicking lights on and off, then another picture of someone using energy for their life loads of times. Then, the pictures I saw were going faster, and faster until the end. It persuaded me because at first looking at the pictures going by, they were at first confusing, then at second I knew the topic and the message and I kept watching it. That is how it persuaded me!

The audience is for the people who are over 12 or same as parents. Unless your parents let you or older brothers or sisters.

They use a kind of different persuasive text. I also think that it is trying to persuade you to watch their movie with thriller things or action or more awesome things that you or other people would like.

    5) How does each technique persuade you?
This persuades me from the mystery and questions in the movie. It just makes me want to find out more or what’s going to happen next in the action scene or romantic scene or solving scene. You just have have to give this movie out a try as in to watch.
